Lloyds TSB Fitness Run (Race 4 of 5)
Eighteen year old Craig Gardner became the third teenager this year to win a Lloyds TSB Fitness Four Mile Run from the Pilot Inn in Hardwicke.
The May event was won by Gareth Howells, 17, and the June event by 18 year old Severn AC team mate Alex Maton.
The August race attracted a record field of 81 runners as part of the Gloucester Festival.
Gardner went straight into the lead and reached halfway in 12.14 fighting off several challengers including July winner, Nick Holliday.
Gardner said "My aim is to break 24 minutes in the September race."
Gloucester rugby legend Mike Teague finished in 60th in 35.41.
