Easter 10k road race
Matthew Collins from Cardiff AC was a comfortable winner of the Easter 10k road race in 32.59. A tactical start had eight runners bunched together at the mile marker before Collins pulled clear of Will Fergusson (CLC Striders) and Gary Hope (Severn). With a mile to go Fergusson increased the pace to drop Hope and take second place (33.39). Hope took third place and the Vet 40 prize in 33.51.
Luke Herbert (Glos AC) was fourth in 34.18. James Rose ran a PB (36.26) to take eighth place as Severn's second scorer. Severn won the team prize with Dave Lowthian (14th), Steve Hale (15th), Andy Brown (23rd) and Martin Cleverley (31st).
Kate Goodhead was an easy ladies winner.
